Facebook Removes Video Of Baby Killed By Her Father In Thailand

Facebook has removed the video that allegedly showed a man in Thailand killing his 11 months old daughter. The sad event happened on Monday.


According to Reuters, two videos showed the child's death posted on the man's facebook handle for about 24hours.
Thailand's Ministry of Digital Economy told the news agency it requested Facebook remove the video. The suspect also killed himself.
Several dozens of people, including the baby's mother attended the funeral of the baby.

"This is an appalling incident and our hearts go out to the family of the victim. There is absolutely no place for acts of this kind on facebook," the Company spokewoman said.
The incident comes a week after a man from Ohio fatally shot a man walking down the street and uploaded the video to Facebook. He later killed himself after hot pursuit by Police in Pennsylvania.
The killing made Facebook CEO, Mark Zuckerberg to say at a developer's conference: "We have a lot of work, and we will keep doing all we can to prevent tragedies like this from happening.
