Christiane Amanpour And Jamie Rubin Are Divorcing

CNN presenter, Christiane Amanpour and husband Jamie Rubin are divorcing after 20 years of union according to a close source to the couple.

The couple who have a teenage son, weded in Italy in 1998 after discovering romance in a war torn Sarajevo.

The 60 year old presenter of CNN's global affairs show popularly known as "Amanpour", lives in London and currently took over Charlie Rose's segment after the anchorman was blamed of sexual unethical behavior by many women.

Jamie, 58, a former journalist and Bill Clinton-era assistant secretary of state for public affair, currently shifted to Washington where he is writing and consulting for lobbying firm Ballard Partners.

Amanpour named Jamie a " true hero", while talking to Oprah Winfrey, and told her how he shifted to London to be with her and care for their son Darius, say " Jamie is the poster child for good husbands".

Their glamorous wedding was attended by John F.Kennedy Jr. and wife Carolyn, diplomat Richard Holbrook, Clinton aide Sydney Blumenthal and former Deputy National Security Adviser, James Steinberg.
